American Concrete Products started in 1980 with three trucks and one small manually operated plant in Johnston, American Concrete Products Inc., has continued to expand and grow to become one of the largest Ready-Mix providers in the area. In 1992 we expanded and built a second plant in West Des Moines, which still remains one of our our largest producing Ready Mix plants to date. In 1994, eight more plants were added through acquisitions, and we have co
ntinued to grow steadily ever since.
Because of this drive to be the best, American Concrete now owns and operates 43 Ready-mix plants in 24 counties throughout northern, southern, central and west central Iowa. We deploy approximately 200 ready mix trucks daily and are equipped to handle all of your ready mix concrete needs.
American Concrete is able to provide reliable, quality products and services from small parking lots for various general contractors and private owners to major paving projects for state, municipal and county agencies. Our concrete is used for a wide variety of projects, from sidewalks to Interstate highways, from bridges to wind farms. We are proud of our reputation for providing quality services and products.
