Starting in 1980 with three trucks and one small manually operated plant in Johnston, American Concrete Products Inc., has continued to expand and grow to become one of the largest Ready-Mix providers in the area.
In 1992, American expanded and built a second plant in West Des Moines, which still remains one of our our largest producing Ready Mix plants to date. In 1994, eight more plants were added through acquisitions, and we have continued to grow steadily ever since. As of 2009, American Concrete owns over 40 ready-mix plants throuout the western half of Iowa.
